印尼总统佐科威周二宣布，印尼进入全国卫生紧急状态。

他在总统府通过电视直播，如是宣布。

他说：“我们应从其他国家的防疫经验中学习，但不会全方面复制。”

除将对社会各方面活动实行大规模限制外，佐科威也宣布了一系列措施，协助低印尼收入者渡过此次新冠肺炎疫情危机。有关措施包括扩大所提供的社会福利、食物援助服务以及电费折扣或豁免。

印尼周二新增114宗新冠肺炎确诊病例，累计确诊病例1528宗；新增死亡病例14宗，累计死亡病例136宗；治愈出院病例81宗。
