马来西亚分会慈济医疗同仁接获槟城中央医院公关讯息，需要慈济协助提供生活用品，给因新冠状肺炎而需要在医院隔离的病人。这些病人因家人都不允许探望，所以没人可为他们送来生活用品，有些女病人，甚至在生理期都没有卫生棉可用。慈济志工随即准备了196份含括22种生活用品的物资，为隔离病人的身心安定，尽一份力。
