被告莫哈末法迪涉嫌于3月21日晚上7时，通过个人脸书上载在行动管制令期间，警方正在值勤的照片，并注明“猿猴来了呢”(beruk mari pulok dah)带有丑化意思，因而触犯1998年通讯及多媒体法令(588法令)第233(1)(a)条文，同时也能够在相同法令第233(3)条文下被控。

一旦罪成，将面对罚款最高5万令吉或监禁不超过1年，或两者兼施，同时也能够在被判罪后每天罚款1000令吉。
