首相慕尤丁表示，将拨出5亿令吉额外拨款给卫生部进行抗疫行动。同时，也拨款1亿3000万令吉给各州政府协助抗疫。

此外，政府也为卫生部准备了1亿令吉以合约方式委任2000名新医护人员，尤其是护士支援抗疫行动。
