白宫也失守！3月20日当地时间，美国副总统发言人宣布，副总统彭斯办公室有一名人员检测新冠病毒呈阳性。
彭斯新闻秘书米勒（Katie Miller）发表声明表示，彭斯办公室的一名成员对新冠肺炎病毒的检测呈现阳性反应，但，总统特朗普和彭斯未曾与此人有过密切接触。
这是白宫首起新冠病毒确诊案例！虽然没有透露确诊者身份，不过，彭斯办公室在接获确诊通知后，目前正在追踪接触者。
