考量新冠病毒在全球蔓延的情况，以及为了集中医疗资源抗疫，大马决定暂时不批准外国游轮停靠大马港口，包括巴生港口，直至全球疫情受到控制为止。

卫生总监拿督诺希山今天在其脸书专页发文告说，卫生部在数个政府部门和机构商议后，作出上述决定。

他说，游轮乘客和船员出入我国都需要接受体检和医疗服务，但在当前这艰难时刻，我国需要集中医疗资源在医院，以应对国内紧急病例和采取防范措施。

“我们了解到游轮业是大马旅游业其中一个重要部分，为大马经济做出巨大贡献。我们希望这只是暂时措施，并坚信在所有人努力之下，能尽快解决这个问题。”
