槟州亲敏派公正党支部党员原定于今晚召开记者会，宣布集体退党，但该记者会临时取消了。

媒体原本接到消息，部分槟州公正党支部党员欲于周六晚8时30分，在峇央峇鲁召开记者会，宣布退党。不过，中午又接获通知，指记者会已被取消。

公正党日落洞支部主席沙鲁丁受访时表示，确实原本今晚准备在记者会上，宣布部分党员退党事宜，但如今中央政权不稳定，加上一些党员不方便，因此取消记者会。

不过，他指出，之后还会再召开记者会，相信到时候会有更多党员退党。

前公正党副主席祖莱达接获党纪律委员会发出的纪律信时，沙鲁丁曾偕同亲敏派公正党党员声援祖莱达。他们当时放话，若祖莱达被开除党籍，将偕同其他党员退出公正党。
