意大利新冠肺炎疫情扩大，周六累计确诊病例889宗，21人死亡。

意大利是亚洲地区以外，确诊数字最严重的国家，而在周五一日新增238宗。

该国一名民防官员表示，意大利累计21起死亡病例，46人治愈。

与此同时，瑞典及以色列均有从意大利回国人士染疫。瑞典和以色列分别有1名和2名从意大利回国的公民确诊新冠肺炎。

此外，美国疾病控制及预防中心(CDC)周五提高对意大利的旅游警示，呼吁国民如非必要，避免到意大利旅行。
