首相敦马哈迪大年初一携带夫人敦茜蒂哈斯玛共赴反对党——民政党新春大团拜！

随行的尚有经济事务部长拿督斯里阿兹敏阿里以及各华团领袖，一起庆祝农历新年。

马哈迪伉俪是在早上10时55分抵达，而阿兹敏阿里则较早些，大约10时40分抵达。

这也是敦马再次任相之后，首次出席反对党的新春大团拜。

民政党主席拿督刘华才早前指出，去年民政党也有邀请首相和国阵领袖出席党的新春大团拜，但都没有赴会。
