吉兰丹州所有男公务员每周四上班时必须戴宋谷（songkok），这项措施即时生效。

丹州秘书处在12月19日发出这项通令，并由州政府副秘书东姑阿兹米签署。

根据东姑阿兹米，在今年11月6日召开的第23次吉兰丹州议会中，同意州内男公务员每周四必须戴宋谷上班。

他25日受询时说，这项指示涉及州公务员，包括在州政府大厦及地方政府办公室上班的行政人员。

他说，此举也与丹州口号“与伊斯兰教一起发展”相符。
