一名渔夫海上遇难，漂流一段时间后，幸运的被一艘从吉打港口码头往浮罗交怡的“6号星城”客船救起。

据客船船长林兴德（译音）指出，“6号星城”客船是于周三上午9时30分，从吉打港口码头出发，当时船内载有351名乘客。

他说，客船航行约1小时25分钟后，他在靠近浮罗交怡海域德的杜巴岛附近发现一个类似人的物体在水上漂浮。

他表示，正当他确认有关物体是一名男子之后，马上决定把对方救起。

“救援行动耗时约45分钟，该名渔夫被救起后身体状况非常虚弱，于中午12时15分被送往浮罗交怡医院救治。
