继两小时前吉玻遭狂风暴雨来袭后，槟岛也遭强风袭击，造成多区出现树倒压车及挡道，甚至有中元街区的戏棚被吹倒，还有被卷走的屋顶锌片在空中乱飞！

据知，强风是在周五晚约10时30分来袭槟岛，除了东北县多区受影响外，西南县也受波及。

槟岛市政厅周五晚也通过脸书吁请在外或要继续行程的民众受促谨慎。

由於遭狂风来袭，槟州首长曹观友也第一时间通过官方脸书专页转载槟岛市政厅的温馨提醒贴士，叮咛民众万事小心，避免在外面逗留。 同时，首长也希望驾驶人士小心驾驶。
