教育部长马智礼说，首相敦马哈迪医生点评部长表现时在10分满分中给予5分，是一项公平的评分。

他说，马哈迪是有经验的领袖，肯定了解应该如何评分。马智礼今天出席教育部常月集会后受询时说：“这是来自拥有丰富执政经验领袖一项相当公平的评估，因为他非常保守。”

根据报道，马哈迪说，许多部长当初入阁时是缺乏经验的新人，但是如今已经学习了许多。
