本月23日至3月1日，RON95及RON97汽油每公升调高10仙，柴油价格维持每公升2令吉18仙。

财政部发表文告说，上述期间，RON95汽油每公升从1令吉98仙调高至2令吉零8仙，RON97汽油从每公升2令吉28仙调高至2令吉38仙。

“RON95汽油零售价调高是国际市场提炼油平均价格，从原本每桶63.11美元提高至每桶66.91美元所致。”

文告说，提炼柴油平均价格从每桶74.38美元提高至每桶79.11美元，在自动价格机制下，柴油零售价原本应该是每公升2令吉33仙。

文告指出，基于政府承诺稳定柴油价格为每公升2令18仙，因此柴油零售价保持不变。
