（吉隆坡11日讯）教育部长马智礼鼓励任何有意到高等学府继续深造的人士，向大马学术鉴定机构查询，以免受骗。

他说，学术鉴定机构能对所有高等学府所提供的科系，进行核审与鉴定其学术资格，因此，民众若想继续深造，可向学术鉴定机构查询。

他强调，为免民众受骗，学术鉴定机构制定了很高的标准，以鉴定高等学府所提供的科系。

马智礼周一在巡视士毛月彩虹花园新国民小学工地时，受询有关假学历风波时，如是指出。

据报道，全国私立高等教育机构协会（NAPEI）主席依拉索兰揭露，外国有很多私立大学为“文凭工厂”，为报名者在无需就读任何课程下，就能得到文凭。

他说，尤其是在美国，一些“大学”只是在一间店屋或很小的办公室里运作。
