天冷很多人会穿袜子上床睡觉,对此习惯,中西医看法不同。
中医认为,本身气血就不足者睡眠期间更需保阳气,穿袜子可让手脚保持温暖,但并非所有人适用,建议可在睡前以中药煮的热水泡脚暖身。
西医则表示,睡觉穿袜子确实能避免身体因外在环境,导致体温骤降,免疫力下降,但香港脚病人不建议穿袜子睡,以免患部不断感染。
以中医角度而言,当身体阳气不足、气血不足就会造成手脚冰冷,尤其女性每个月都会经历月经,更容易气虚,男性若睡眠不足或劳动量大也会导致气虚。
手脚是血液循环末端处,循环不佳就会造成手脚冰冷,这些症状多发生于三高疾病病人身上,应视其为健康指标。
中医:更建议煮姜水泡脚
“阳气”可保持身体温暖,以四季而言,冬季阳气不足,在经络理论中,一天中气较弱的时段就是睡眠期间,本身气血不足者更需保阳气,虽穿袜子确实可让手脚保持温暖,但更建议煮姜水,加上桂枝、艾叶等中药材泡脚15至20分钟,让脚吸收阳气,可改善手脚冰冷。
保持阳气需从养成好的日常习惯开始,首先睡眠必须充足,切记疲劳是补气大忌,并少吃瓜类、冰水、冰品及生菜沙拉等寒凉食物,养成固定运动的习惯。手脚易冰冷的民众若想补冬,建议以羊肉炉、姜母鸭等温补食材来补气抗寒冷,来年就不容易生病。
西医:多运动是根本之道
睡觉穿袜子保暖无法促进血液循环,但可避免身体因外在环境,导致体温骤降,免疫力下降,减少感冒机会。同时特别强调,因睡觉盖著棉被本就不透气,民众若想藉由袜子保暖,记得选择透气性较佳的袜子,不要穿羊毛厚袜,以免让双脚过于潮湿、温暖,反而让脚成为霉菌孳生的温床,尤其香港脚病人恐不断感染,并不适合穿袜子睡觉。

许多人喜欢在冷天泡脚,确实可去寒祛湿,促进足部血液循环,但提醒糖尿病病人、先天手脚冰冷等痛觉敏感低者,可先请旁人试温,以免烫伤到长水泡,甚至溃烂。
