非常罕见，比利时一名确诊新冠肺炎的12岁女童，周二病逝，成为该国首名因新冠肺炎丧命的孩童。

这也是比利时出现的首起孩童病逝病例。据了解，女童在病逝前发烧了3天，后确诊新冠肺炎。

比利时政府发言人指出，女童病逝的消息让他们感到“震惊”，因为在这么小的年纪病逝是“非常罕见的情况”。

比利时迄今累计确诊病例1万2775宗，累计死亡病例705宗，另1696宗治愈出院。
