砂首长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿邦佐哈里，宣布多项应对新冠肺炎的经济援助配套，如电费折扣及B40群体每月获得250令吉，长达6个月。
他周一在记者会上表示，4月至9月，电费折扣率介于5%至25%；国内（25%）、商业 C1 C2 C3（15%）、工业I1 I2（10%）及工业I3（5%）。
至于水费折扣率则介于10%至25%；国内（25%）、国内/商业（15%）、商业（15%）、工业（10%）。
同时，砂州内逾43万名B40群体，将每月获得250令吉，长达6个月。
