黄秀捷相信是被其父亲行动党泗里街国会议员黄灵彪所传染。作为防范措施，利查马力肯指黄秀捷曾去过的所有国家体育理事会及国家体育学院的设施，都将会被关闭，以进行消毒。他指这过程需要2丶3天。
