森美兰州议会议长拿督祖基菲里宣布，展延原订于3月30日召开的州议会会议。

他说，这是随着国家政权更迭，国民联盟组成新政府后，该州于去年底已通过的《2020年森美兰财政预算案》须重新检讨。

祖基菲里今天（12日）受询时对《马新社说：“原订在3月30日至4月3日召开州议会会议，但我们展延至5月4日至13日，为期6天。”

“展延会议也给予州政府时间重新检讨州财政预算案。”

他也促请各造勿对州议会会议展延一事诸多揣测。
