卫生总监拿督诺希山说，卫生部已经收集有关新冠肺炎的假新闻，并交给警方及多媒体及通讯委员会处理。

他也提醒人们切勿散播未经证实的消息，以免引起人们的忧虑。

他说：“如果要应付这些假新闻，我们24小时都不够用。”

他说，人们可以向卫生部查核有关新冠肺炎消息的属实。
