自新冠肺炎疫情肆虐，各地交流减少，台湾桃园国际机场自大年初一以来，乘客量持续下滑，本周三（26日）更跌破4万人次，与去年平均每日13万3000人次相比，现时旅客量仅剩3成左右。

台湾桃园国际机场公司（简称桃机公司）表示，根据统计，去年旅运量突破4600万人次，单日最高运量曾超过16万人次，均创下历史新高。

惟新冠肺炎疫情爆发后，航班架次大幅缩水，客运量居高的两岸及日韩航班亦大幅减少班次。

今年1、2月间平均每日有7百多架次，但周三仅有459架次，只剩6成航班。

桃机公司指出，以热门的南韩航线为例，原定周三有48架次航班飞往南韩，结果因旅客量不足，减少至18架次。
