首相敦马哈迪今日主持土著团结党会议，引起各造揣测，都指会议与新组政府有关。

闻讯而至的媒体代表自上午9时许，即塞满了土团党总部的走廊，以等待会议的结果。

马哈迪于9时10分抵达现场，惟会议至中午12时许，仍未有任何的消息，媒体也被告知，不确定会有新闻发布会。

除了马哈迪外，土团党主席丹斯里慕尤丁丶土团党青年团团长赛沙迪等皆有出席会议。

拉律国会议员韩沙再努丁在上午11时20分离开大厦时，向媒体指出，会议仍在继续，惟不愿透露会议详情。
