亚太经合组织（APEC）峰会成员国将在来临会议中，商讨新型冠状病毒疫情。

APEC传播及公共事务主任迈克查聂说，该组织认为新冠病毒影响了全球超过20个国家，有一定的风险。

他今天（19日）出席APEC委员会会议后，在记者会上说：“我们将在未来数周的会议上商讨此事，我们也和APEC所有21个成员密切合作。”

APEC成员当中，我国、中国、日本、香港、新加坡、泰国、加拿大和越南发生新型冠状病毒疫情。

阔别22年后，我国将于11月再次主办APEC峰会，届时预料21个成员国的领袖及1万6000名代表将出席。
