公主游轮公司发表声明表示，“钻石公主”号周一共确诊了66起新型冠状病毒病例，累计确诊病例为136起。

该公司说，日本卫生官员已确认，新确诊者包括45名日本公民、11名美国公民、4名澳洲公民、3名菲律宾公民、1名英国公民、1名加拿大公民和1名乌克兰公民。

由于目前仍在14天隔离期的早期阶段，因此研判有关66名病例是在隔离前感染，公主游轮表示会遵从日本厚生省的离船方案，尽快为确诊旅客提供后续医疗服务，该邮轮除非有其他无法预期的情况发生，所有人员将于船上隔离至2月19日。
