《光华日报》好人好事移交6万令吉予肾病患者欧文，作为换肾手术费用。

本报副总经理周慧妮周一在欧文的兄长威廉见证下，移交6万令吉款项予欧文。

欧文长期饱受洗肾之苦，如今医生证实两颗肾都衰竭，需换肾续命，弟弟罗杰不忍哥哥长期受苦，决定捐出一颗肾予哥哥续命，惟单是肾脏移植手术就需要10万令吉。

这对依靠微薄收入过活的他们来说，无法负担手术费用，在不得已情况下唯有向本报求助。
