霹雳州安顺理科国中寄宿学校8名学生被诊断感染A型流感，在1月11日开始关闭至19日，以展开清洁工作。

随着学校被指示关闭，所有的寄宿学生已经被令返回住家。

霹雳州教育局局长苏海米指出，霹州也有学生感染A型流感（H1N1），最新病例在安顺理科国中寄宿学校发生。这也是该州第一宗学校因爆发A型流感而关闭事件。

苏海米周一下午发文告披露，目前已根据教育部和卫生部设定的标准作业程序，以便控制疫情。

他表示，实施封锁也是为了防止疫情进一步蔓延到在该校的550名学生，同时，该校将特别在学校宿舍内进行清洁工作。
