一名沙巴警官逆行驾驶遭遇车祸丧生。

哥打京拿峇鲁警区主任哈比比助理总监指出，死者证实为京那鲁普通警察部队指挥官沙米尔（53岁），警方初步调查发现由该名警官驾驶的迈薇轿车，从德洛里下斯市区方向时逆行驾驶，并与一辆迎面而来的皮卡车相撞，当场断魂。
“被夹在车座上的司机，被医务人员证实气绝身亡。尸体事发后被送入里卡士中央医院太平间解剖。
警方目前援引1987年交通法令第41(1)项条文调查。”
