一名男子因水灾受困于轿车上长达2小时后终获消拯局救出，逃过一劫。

此惊险事件是周一凌晨5时左右，发生在新山哥打丁宜至丰盛港路段的峇都13。

柔州消拯局第二区主任哈斯拉莫哈末周一说，受困的男子为43岁的罗伟强（译音），他是驾驶四轮驱动车前往丰盛港时受困于灾区内。

“消拯员抵达现场时，发现车子受困在水深2.1至2.4米（7至8英尺）之间的地方。”

他说，当局出动双栖船展开拯救工作，于早上7时30分救出男子，共5名消拯员参与此次的拯救工作。受困者较后由在案发现场等待的家人送返家。
