对爱美的女性来说,原本白皙的手脚背后,竟逐渐爬上青色的蜘蛛丝,严重者会凸起、宛如一条条蚯蚓。老一辈认为,这是劳碌命的象征,但其实大多是胶原蛋白流失或是血液循环不好造成的。
未老“手”先衰 胶原蛋白流失
常在年纪大的长辈手背或脚背上看到一条条青筋浮现,这是一种老化的过程,没有办法改善。这是因为皮肤真皮层胶原蛋白流失,皮肤失去支撑,干瘪塌陷,使得血管浮现特别明显所致。
但年轻人为什么也会手脚布满青筋?多半是静脉曲张造成的。静脉曲张依照程度分为3个等级:细小分布的青筋,就是最轻微的末梢血管病变,中等状态是只要站着,青筋就凸出来,宛如葡萄一球一球,或者像是蚯蚓爬满整个手脚背;最严重的状况则是静脉溃疡。
肥胖或提重物也会招来“蚯蚓”
静脉曲张最常见的情况是因为久站及长期穿高跟鞋,导致腿部压力增压,对抗地心引力的静脉回流到心脏显得非常困难。一开始皮肤表面会有发丝状的分布,位置通常在手、脚背内侧、大腿,此情形大多是个人体质、遗传所引起的,无伤大雅。
体型过胖或者长期提重物者,皮肤的青筋也会比较明显。肥胖或长期负重的人,下肢承受力较大,人在用力的时候负压增加,久而久之就会下半身血液循环不良,也就造成静脉曲张。
久站者多走动助肌肉收缩
若觉得下肢肿胀、沉重,或者血管外观突起,就应该就医;平时工作需要久站的人,应该穿着弹性袜,并且多走动,帮助肌肉收缩及静脉淋巴循环,尽可能做些腿部健康操,比如垫脚尖、垫脚跟,或让身体微微上下晃动,也能有效预防静脉曲张。
