配合国际狮子会视力醒觉运动，太平世纪狮子会特在乌鲁十八丁淡小举办视力检验活动，为50名学生验眼。

检验视力工作是由该会理事曹始雄进行，在经过检验后，发现有5名学生因面对视力问题而须配载眼镜，该会也将赞助这些学生配眼镜。
