港岛示威冲突未平息，周日(29日)晚在旺角警署外，约有50人聚集，有人用雷射笔照向警署外墙，有防暴警在警署内现身。

在警署旁边的港铁太子站外，亦有市民点蜡烛及烧衣。至晚上10时许，有一名示威者突然冲至警署水马前，向警署投掷汽油弹，警方举橙旗示警，随即开多枪还击，而扔进去的汽油弹疑未能点着，没有起火，警员其后用扫把将汽油弹碎片扫走。

一名姓曹女途人表示，警察开枪时刚巧途经现场，但不会害怕，仍然会继续出街。
