许多人认为,晚上喝咖啡会导致自己睡不着,其实最新研究指出,咖啡因对睡眠影响不大,反而睡前喝酒及抽烟,将导致较难入眠!
佛罗里达大西洋大学和哈佛大学针对785人进行14年研究,检测咖啡因、酒精和尼古丁的用量,并透过手腕上的感应器与睡眠日记,得到受试者的睡眠持续时间、睡眠效率及醒来的速度等数据进行比较。
研究结果显示,对经常失眠者而言,睡前抽菸让他们需要花42分钟才能入眠,而越接近睡觉时间饮酒对受试者睡眠影响越大,至于咖啡因造成的影响则非常小。
即便每个人的睡眠记录可能有偏误,但研究人员对自己的研究结果相当有自信。上述论点也有其他专家曾提出过。
