敦马哈迪强调，我国与中国签署东海岸铁路计划附加合约，与被指匿藏在中国的大马富商刘特佐无关。

他说，若刘特佐真的在中国，我国政府将寻求中国政府协助。

“当然，如果他在中国，我们将会寻求中国政府的帮忙。”

根据媒体报道，刘特佐相信是在中国，最近到过海南岛、香港及北京。

除了马来西亚，新加坡及美国联邦调查局也在通缉刘特佐。
