杜拜去年9月为庆祝沙地阿拉伯国庆，特意安排水炮仪式欢迎来自沙地的客机。未料水柱冲力过大，撞开客机紧急逃生门，伤及一名乘客。当局发表调查报告，指当时消防车故障令其中一条水压失控，引致意外。

当日客机降落杜拜国际机场后，获当地消防部门安排发射水炮欢迎。惟一条应作“拱门”状的水柱调校角度出错，致直射机身并撞开紧急逃生门，逃生滑梯更因而自动弹出。一名坐近逃生门的乘客受轻伤，但并无大碍。

据指，机组人员及乘客对欢迎计划并不知情。当局已对水炮欢迎仪式进行事后检讨，以防意外重演。
