晏斗州议席补选提名将于周天举行，选举委员会已售出8份补选提名表格。

选委会副主席阿兹米沙隆说，其中希望联盟和国阵各购买一份提名表格，其余6份是独立人士所购买。

他今天在补选提名中心达城（巴力丁宜）华小巡视准备工作后，对记者这么说。

阿兹米沙隆说，选委会预测70%晏斗州议席选民将于4月13日投票日当天投票。

晏斗州议席有2万零926名选民，其中2万零804人是普通选民、118人是提早投票选民及4人是海外缺席选民。

上述州议席的马来选民占55.11%或1万1283人，华裔选民占18.8%或3849人、印裔占26.06%或5336人，其他族群有4人，占0.02%。
