鹰航取消订购737 MAX 8客机。
印尼狮子航空及埃塞俄比亚航空先后发生空难,令外界对波音客机安全产生疑虑。其中印尼鹰航周五宣布,取消订购49架波音737 MAX8客机,预计涉及数十亿美元。
航空公司发言人罗桑表示,已经向波音公司发信,要求取消订单。他称:“取消的原因,是我们的乘客对这款客机失去信任及信心。”他补充,公司正等候波音方面的回应。
早前有指埃塞空难中失事的波音737 MAX客机,本可安装两个可防止空难的安全部件,但波音将部件定为非标准装置,安装需额外收费。惟周四有报道指,波音会将其中一件装置列为必须安装的标准部件。
当机头升得太高致失速时,737 MAX客机内的“机动特性增强系统”(MCAS)会强迫机头向下,外界怀疑这正是两架客机失控坠毁原因。《纽约时报》指出,波音有两件非标准部件,分别为“攻角指标”及“攻角读数不一致警告灯”。
上述两款部件,都被波音作为价格高昂的附加组件出售,也不是联邦航空局(FAA)规定的装备,因此许多相对规模较小的航空公司及廉航都不会购买。问题是空难接连发生后,后知后觉的波音拟将攻角读数警告灯,定为MAX客机的标准装备。
