（北海15日讯）槟威渡轮“乌丹岛号”（Pulau Undan）疑乘客坠海，搜寻与救援行动小组（SAR）紧急出动，海面搜索坠海乘客踪迹。

据民防文告指出，上述事件发生于今早约9时许，当局在9时24分接获槟州码头的投报后即刻派人前往该处展开搜索行动。

据悉，事件发生地点位于北海码头西北方向的0.8海里处，在该处进行的搜索工作也还在进行。

另一方面，该名坠海乘客的身份及坠海原因也尚未被掌握。
