（吉隆坡29日讯）警方方拘捕一名男子，搜到手枪与子弹，目前在调查他持有军火的动机。

吉隆坡总警长拿督斯里马兹南周二在记者会说，上周五（25日）午夜零时30分，来自金马警区重案组的警队，在本坡拉末路一间酒店前，拘捕一名行迹可疑的巫裔男子，随后在后者的引领下，在冼都拿督仙努搜到枪械与子弹。

他说，警方共搜到一把点三八左轮手枪、5枚点三八子弹与两枚9毫米子弹。

警方查悉，这名男子拥有的犯罪前科，包括涉嫌以危险武器或方式蓄意严重伤害他人、企图勒索与拥有毒品。

目前，警方引1971年军火增刑法令第8拥有枪械条文查案，疑犯被延长拘留到周四（31日）。
