晚餐常是一天中最让人放松的一餐,很多人在这时才能好好进食,摄取量也常比早午餐多。有人提问,前一天晚餐吃得很饱很撑,但第二天早上起来感觉更饿,到底是怎么回事?
平常感觉到饿有2种情形,一种是是胃里食物已被消化完的空腹感,第二种是低血糖造成浑身无力。
如果睡前吃很饱,胃里塞满食物,消化系统一整晚都在运作消化食物,第二天胃里食物已排空,造成胃从膨胀的状态到收缩状态,像漏气气球一点点下去,这个过程会造成巨大的空腹感。但是人在睡眠状态时,感知疼痛能力降低饿的感觉,隔天醒来后大脑接收到这些感觉,会感觉非常饿。
另外,人体进食后血糖升高,身体会分泌胰岛素来帮助控制血糖,把多余的血糖带到肝脏合成糖原或脂肪。如果前一天临睡前吃太多,尤其是高糖高脂的食物吃得越多,第二天的饥饿感可能越明显。
如果睡觉前没有进食,消化系统也不会大幅度的消化,如果胃内没有食物消化了,会从脂肪等获取能量来维持身体的需求。处于一个平衡状态,第二天醒来后就不会有落差感,饿的感觉就不会那么强烈。
医生提醒,平常应该尽量少吃宵夜,如果真的饿了可以吃一些香蕉面包填充,第二天早餐也要吃的营养均衡。因晚上睡觉也会消耗能量,如果隔天早餐没补回来,会影响读书或工作效率。
